Not even 2 km from Spa, this wonderful corner of nature accessible all year round welcomes you for a wonderful day of relaxation with walks, a restaurant, playground, pedalos and fishing.
Warfaaz lake’s history began in 26 July 1882 when the town of Spa fell victim to a large flood caused by the overflowing water of the Wayai, a tributary stream of the Hoëgne River. To keep the situation from reoccurring, the town decided to build a dam that formed Warfaaz Lake. Construction took four years. Today, the site is a pretty corner of nature that offers a change of scenery with is rustic environment and well-designed facilities. Around the lake are many activities that will delight both kids and grown-ups.
