Former sheep barn that has become a charming holiday home in the village of Braunlauf. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sauna, terrace, garden and games. Two dogs permitted! Perfect for a family holiday.
Soft tones and natural materials (wood, stone and rattan) make this wonderfully renovated sheep barn dating back to 1701 an especially restful cocoon. Here, you’ll feel good even when the weather’s grey. Take a little well-deserved time to pamper yourselves in total privacy in the main bedroom with its en-suite bathroom and infrared sauna. And the children will be delighted to have their own bathroom and a bedroom just for them. Each to their own space! Outside, the terrace will allow you to enjoy the authentic charm of this three-hundred-year-old house. And in the large garden (shared with the owners), the children can let off steam while you grill local specialities on the barbecue!
Feel like a revitalising walk in the Ardennes ? You have a forest and a RAVeL trail a few minutes away by car. You’ll stay in Liège province and if you've booked an invigorating winter holiday, you can reach the Baugnez ski slopes quickly. And to discover the magnificent Ardennes countryside in a unique way, head to the Fagnes RAVeL trail which meanders for 125 km across Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg with a stage in St Vith. Choose the route that suits your family and see unique and little known panoramas and castles along the region’s valleys, rivers and forests. The ideal family adventure!

Een geweldig huis met zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. Er is een afgesloten tuin voor de hond, de ligging van het huis is ideaal voor wie er op uit wil naar België Luxemburg en of Duitsland, huisje ligt privé en alles wat je nodig kan hebben is in het huisje te vinden. (Tot aan leesboeken en spelletjes toe) bij aankomst lag er wat lekkers voor de hond (en ons te wachten) geweldig verblijf gehad

Hartelijke verwelkoming door Ben en Claire, geen moeite was teveel, charmant huis, compleet ingericht, kraaknet, ontbijt besteld bij de eigenaar, superhandig! 's Avonds kon je eten in de table d'hôte, wij kozen voor afhaal bij Ben, overheerlijk!!!

Charmant huisje, comfortabel, met uitgebreid en kwalitatief kook- en barbecuegerei. Prima bedden en regendouche. Enkel de draaitrap is voor een 70-plusser-met-bagage een uitdaging! Dierenvrienden Claire en Ben zijn heel verwelkomend en beschikbaar, ze spreken goed Nederlands. Ben is bovendien een prima kok: we hebben van een paar lekkere ‘take-away’ maaltijden van zijn hand kunnen genieten - ook het versgebakken brood en de thuisbereide confituur smaakten verrukkelijk. En Kiwi is een schatje...

Heel fijne woning in een rustig dorpje met veel wandelmogelijkheden. De dagelijks verse croissants, broodjes en lekkernijen van de eigenaar en de superlieve hond Kiwi maken dit verblijf heel bijzonder.

Een zeer warm welkom met een eigen gebakken cake en wat lekkers voor de hond. Alles is tip top in orde en lekker ruim. Het hele huisje straalt gezelligheid uit, mooi servies en keukengerei wat van deze tijd is geeft ook een fijn gevoel. Zeker een aanrader!

Een heel fijn huis. Woonkamer en keuken gezellig ingericht. Keuken zeer compleet. Trap naar boven is minder geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Twee goede badkamers, heerlijke bedden. Alles superschoon. Werden allerhartelijkst ontvangen door de eigenaren. In het dorp Braunlauf niets te doen. De tijd lijkt hier te hebben stilgestaan. Voor boodschappen en winkels moet je echt een aantal kilometers rijden. Mooie fiets- en wandelroutes in nabije omgeving. Mooie natuur. Zeker een aanrader
