But our favourite place within the region has to be the Fondry des Chiens nature reserve, located in the Entre Meuse et Sambre nature park. A stunning place that is reminiscent of Provence! Family holiday with young kids • Long Weekend December 2024

The sauna and fireplace were the two main reasons why we came to this cottage. The sauna turned out to be broken and we could not use it. The communication from the caretaker (concierge) about this subject was disappointing. In addition, it is not possible to let the fireplace burn without being smoked yourself. The first time we entered the cottage we noticed a strong smell of smoke. When we tried to light the fireplace we also understood why this is. A lot of smoke ends up in the living room.
