De ligging van het huis is zeer goed, een 15 min. van Durbuy en dicht bij Barvaux. Het huis zelf is zeer gezellig, authentiek en mooi versierd voor de kerstdagen. Een mooie versierde kerstboom in het salon was zeer aangenaam. Het huis zou wel mogen volledig omheind zijn voor de kleine kinderen en huisdieren. Ook zou het huis netter mogen zijn, en een werkende verwarming in de keuken zou het verblijf wat aangenamer maken.

Het vakantiehuis voldeed niet naar onze verwachtingen. We gaan al vele jaren met enkele gezinnen en kunnen dus zeker vergelijken. Prijs/kwaliteit was dit één van onze duurdere huizen, maar het minste qua comfort, hygiëne en gezelligheid. De foto’s zijn niet meer conform en het huis straalt hier niets meer van uit.

Zeer gezrllige tuin en aangenaam vertoeven aan de grote tuintafel. Keuken aan de kleine kant waarvan 2 vd 3 koelkasten niet naar behoren functioneerden. Geen darts aanwezig nochtans wel vermeld. Slaapkamers waren in orde.

Een prachtig mooi oud huis, ruim genoeg voor het aantal personen. Ruime tuin met prachtig uitzicht. De voorzieningen in de omgeving zijn volop aanwezig om te wandelen en leuke plaatjes te bezoeken. Wij waren met 1 auto met aanhanger en 7 motoren en er was genoeg parkeerplaats. Aandachtpunten zijn de afstap in de woonkamer bij de piano en het raam naast het bed in de voorslaapkamer, oppassen dat je niet door het raam valt. Verder zeker een aanrader

Wij verbleven met vrienden in dit vakantiehuis rond Oud&Nieuw. Het huis is niet smetteloos maar heeft wel een authentieke charme en ligt in een prachtige streek. We hebben een gezellig verblijf gehad. Wel misten we het dartbord!
