This medieval castle close to Hamoir and Durbuy will be the ideal location to spend holidays among family or friends. A part of this beautiful building will be yours for a whole weekend. As soon as you cross the big wooden door and discover the large staircase, you will immediately be charmed by this impressive holiday home. Once you have climbed the stairs, you will arrive in the main room, which is the largest room of the holiday cottage. You will find a dining room, a sitting corner with TV, a playing corner for the children with a table football and a table tennis table. In the same room, you will find a Disney-like staircase that will take you upstairs. But let us first keep visiting the main floor. You will also benefit from a fully-equipped kitchen and a sitting corner with wood stove. This small sitting room will be perfect to spend cozy evenings when the weather is cold outside. On the second floor, you will find a billiard on the hallway, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One double bedroom benefits from a private bathroom. The other bathroom is accessible from the second double bedroom and from the hallway. You will be amazed at how big the living areas are! You will also find a private terrace looking over the surrounding countryside as well as a garden with a lovely view over the Ourthe river. Swimming is allowed but at your own risks. There is also an outdoor tennis court that may be used when the weather allows it and it is shared with the castle owner who lives in another part of the building. There is a direct access to the river with a small pontoon as a diving point for swimming on hot days.
This green setting hosts many hiking trails to be discovered on foot or by bicycle. Hamoir is just 2 km away and Durbuy 12 km away from your holiday rental. You will find fun activities for all ages: Kayaks, Labyrinth, Adventure Valley Durbuy and many others.

Chateau de Lassus ist sehr empfehlenswert. Wir fühlten uns wie König und Königin mit ihren Prinzen. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und reagieren innerhalb von 2 Minuten auf eine Frage. Die Räume sind groß und der Treppenaufgang sehr pompös. Die Umgebung ist sehr romantisch und lädt zum wandern ein. Hamoir ist in einem km zu erreichen und dort sind mehrere Restaurants. Also, wer mal in einer wunderschönen Burg übernachten möchte, dann auf jeden Fall dort hin.

Wij hadden een heel leuke vakantie met ons gezin in het kasteel van Hamoir. Er is van alles te doen in de streek . We werden zeer vriendelijk onthaald en kregen alle nodig uitleg. Je kan heerlijk wandelen en fietsen in de wijde omtrek of een dagje doorbrengen op het mooie kasteeldomein. De Ourthe stroomt door de tuin voor de waterliefhebbers. Binnen heb je heel veel ruimte ,een pingpong tafel, biljart en tafelvoetbal. Ook een mooie rondleiding gehad .Kortom een heerlijke vakantie.

Prachtige ervaring voor onze jonge kinderen (en onszelf ;-)) !!! De grootse ruimtes (binnen in het kasteelverblijf en buiten in het park) zorgen voor een deugdzame rust ! Ook heel hartelijke gastvrouw en -heer. Echt een verblijf met veel charme !

Heel mooie omgeving, prachtig park rond het kasteel. Zeer viendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaars. Het kasteel is aangepast aan alle modern comfort met veel respect voor de authenticiteitvan dit prachtig historisch erfgoed.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in het kasteel! Het is een unieke ervaring om hier te overnachten en te genieten van het geweldige gebouw, de mooie tuin en omgeving. De eigenaars hebben ons hartelijk ontvangen en boden ook aan om ons rond te leiden in het kasteel. We zouden het zeker nog eens doen.
