Méan belongs to Havelange, a municipality at the edge of the Belgian Ardennes between Huy and Marche-en-Famenne. Every year the Route du Fromage (Cheese Route) takes place in this area, with special attention to many different cheese types and local food products, from the region and elsewhere. Furthermore, Méan is located at around 15 minutes from Durbuy, world famous and one of the most delightful spots in the Ardennes.
