This large house with exceptional charm, designed as a chalet, is a true peaceful haven. Located in the heart of the Ardennes countryside, it is the ideal place for a holiday surrounded by nature.
This country house will take you to the mountains. Designed as a chalet, it features an original layout, designed to accommodate large family groups to allow them to be independent, while enjoying their time together. As a matter of fact, three staircases give access to two series of bedrooms and bathrooms, and to a mezzanine with two beds. On the ground floor, the inviting atmosphere is highlighted by the relaxation area, with its sauna and its showers, and with the living room, with a billiards table and fireplace to enjoy warm evenings. The large 2800 m² garden and the 125 m² terrace offer some magnificent views. And there is also a swing and a pétanque terrain for the enjoyment of both adults and children, so you can fully enjoy some relaxation outdoors.
To enjoy the Ardennes nature, you won’t need to go far. This country house is located in Ovifat, which is known for its ski slopes and for its waterfall, which is the second highest in Belgium. It is also close to the Signal de Botrange, the highest point in Belgium, in the High Fens reserve. History lovers can visit the Castle of Reinhardstein, a unique architectural gem in Belgium. For foodies, we recommend making a detour to Waimes and visit Piront catering, who passionately recreates traditional recipes of the Ardennes. The lake of Robertville, just a few kilometres away, is the ideal destination for those who enjoy the outdoors, fishing, swimming or a nice pedal-boat ride.
