Your holiday home is located 50 m away from the woods and 1 km away from a river. In Amberloup (2 km away) you will find shops and restaurants. If you want to explore the region, we recommend visiting the villages of Sainte-Ode and Tenneville as well as the city of Bastogne and its war museum. Another must-visit attraction in the area is the feudal castle in La Roche-en-Ardenne. You can also enjoy a ride aboard the La Roche train and do not hesitate to visit the Saint-Hubert Wildlife Park and the Bisons Farm. If you're looking for more excitement, visit Brandsport Adventure.

Remarque: nous estimons que le fait de ne pouvoir visiter le gîte qu'après payement nous empèche de choisir en connaissance de cause. Si nous avions visiter avant nous n'aurions jamais louer ce gîte. Nous l'avons très mal vécu car c'est la première depuis plus de 40 ans qu'une telle expérience nous est imposée.

Eenvoudig rustig huisje om in te overnachten. Goed gelegen om te wandelingen.

Erg slechte badkamer en slecht bed.

Gezellige typisch ardense gite. Verwarming gebeurt via open haard en supplementair klein vuurtje op electriciteit.
Zeer rustig gelegen vakantiehuis, aanpalend aan eigenaar en enkele andere huurders. Overdreven vol van brocanterie en antiquiteiten. Kleine Basic keuken en badkamer. Slechte matras op bed in te kleine slaapkamer en onconfortable antieken bankstel in donkere woonkamer. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. De gastvrouw stond steeds klaar voor een babbeltje en gaf de nodige antwoorden op eventuele vragen.
Het vakantiehuisje beantwoord niet aan de moderne normen en kwaliteiten van de huidige tijd maar dat geeft de beoordeling met 2 sterren ook duidelijk aan. Uit de vooraf gelezen reviews wisten we goed waar we terecht zouden komen. De zeer hartelijke ontvangst van de bewoners (zeker door mevrouw Bernadette) was bijzonder warm. De 2e ochtend kregen we zelfs iets lekkers aangereikt voor bij de koffie! Bijzonder lieve mensen die ook moeite doen om het je zo goed mogelijk naar de zin te maken.
Gelegen in een mooie omgeving. Er kunnen mooie wandelingen gemaakt worden. Enkele steden zijn niet veraf en interessant om te bezoeken. Het huisje op zich is goed. Misschien wat moderner inrichten en wat renovatiewerken.
Merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentil accueil. Le gîte a le charme d'une vieille demeure (notamment le feu ouvert), mais n'est pas à proprement parler 'cosy'. À recommander plus pour des gens cherchant un confort basique et fonctionnel.
